Ahead of Schedule and Safer Than Ever: NAS Completes Summer Mid-Break Period in Shohaib

Successfully navigating one of the most challenging periods of the year, Noor Al Sahara General Contracting Sole Proprietorship (NAS) is proud to announce the safe and successful completion of the three-month summer mid-break period across our 100 km project zone in Shohaib, part of the landmark AED 721 million infrastructure development with ALDAR Projects LLC all in full compliance with ADOSH requirements.

With over 1,000 workers safely accommodated and supported during the harshest summer conditions, we are especially proud to report zero medical cases a remarkable achievement in a season known for its high heat-related risks. This milestone reflects the effectiveness of our proactive heat stress management program, which was diligently implemented and monitored by our project and HSE teams.

In acknowledgment of this success, our valued client ALDAR Projects LLC hosted a meaningful awarding ceremony. Certificates and plaques of appreciation were presented to key project and HSE staff, recognizing their commitment, discipline, and unwavering focus on safety.

Backed by 275 heavy equipment units and a workforce of about 1,000 strong, NAS continues to demonstrate tight coordination and precision in execution proving once again that safety and efficiency go hand in hand with delivering complex infrastructure.

Since project commencement in August 2025, NAS has achieved 41.07% completion, surpassing the planned progress of 36.38%. This means we are not only on track for the scheduled completion date of December 8, 2026, but also ahead of schedule setting new benchmarks in infrastructure delivery across the region.

At NAS, we remain committed to excellence, quality, and safety in every layer of infrastructure we build. The Shohaib project stands as a testament to our ability to exceed expectations while safeguarding the wellbeing of our workforce and communities.
