In response to the intense summer conditions, the HSE team at Noor Al Sahara General Contracting Sole Proprietorship (NAS) has successfully carried out a proactive Heat Stress Awareness Campaign at the Al Faya site as part of the ongoing ALDAR Project—placing the health and wellbeing of our workforce at the forefront of operations.
The initiative featured a series of practical and preventative measures to protect workers from the risks of extreme heat. These included the distribution of fresh apples for natural energy and hydration, thermal water bottles to help maintain cool fluid temperatures throughout the day, and Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) electrolyte packets to replenish essential salts and prevent dehydration.
Recognizing the diversity of our workforce, the HSE team delivered educational talks in multiple languages, ensuring every worker could clearly understand the causes, symptoms, and prevention of heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Multi-language posters with clear visuals were also strategically placed around the site, serving as constant reminders to stay safe, hydrated, and alert.
This campaign is a strong reflection of NAS’s unwavering commitment to health and safety. For us, safety is more than regulatory compliance—it is a deeply rooted culture that prioritizes every worker’s wellbeing.
We extend our appreciation to our HSE team, project teams, and all site personnel for their cooperation and dedication. Together, we continue to build safely, responsibly, and with care.
